Star Wars: Tag & Bink Were Here
(Graphic Novel with art by Lucas Marangon and Howard M. Shum)
The comedic (and most definitely non-canon) adventures of Tag and Bink, two Rebels whose story weaves in an out of the
plots of the Star Wars movies. Through bad luck and worse judgement the two main characters find themselves in the Jedi
Temple during Order 66, on the Tantive IV, on both Death Stars, on Cloud City and in Jabba's Palace.
The book's funniest moments come when fun is poked at George Lucas' questionable writing skills (the bits with Anakin's attempts
to chat up Padme and the guys finding Chewie's lost medal from 'A New Hope' are the best bits), but as a licenced Star Wars
product it seems that these jabs have been kept to a minimum, which is in turn the book's biggest failing. If you're
into sight gags and pop-culture references then you'll be pleased to see things like Arthur Dent on Jabba's sail barge, the
Cylons marching in the Emperor's escort, Yogi and Booboo dancing with the Ewoks and Jay and Silent Bob as Jedi Knights.
Sadly, overall the book just isn't as funny as it pretends to be. It is worth mentioning, however, that I'm a big fan
of Lucas Marangon's Star Wars work and it's here in all it's glory.

If you liked Rubio:
Then there's more than a few Star Wars parodies out there (my recommendation would be to watch 'Spaceballs' though!).
